Sandi was filling out a consumer survey tonight.... and came across this.

We struggled with the credit they were giving us, but then finally decided to trade.

Personally, I think we got ripped off! :(

Wacky Tie Day

What can I say, I'm a proud Papa... It's wacky Tie day at Jessica's school tomorrow... so, using my new found tallent of sewing (thanks to the practice on making the new sail for the boat) Jessica and I sat down tonight and made a tie.....

Fun in the Kitchen! LU-LU Balls

A definite weekend highlight... Making Lu-Lu Balls... What are they you may ask? Marshmellows, diped in toffee and rolled in rice crispies.... How great is that... This of course was only made possible cause mom brought the necessary supplies from Wpg... Why we can't get macintosh toffee in the bricks out in ON I'll never know....

Montreal

After Mom returned to wpg.... Sandi and the kids went via train to Montreal (to her fam.) and I returned home for a week.

I then left thursday eve to go get them in Montreal... Trouble is I left at 7pm and as it turns out I'm not such a good night driver anymore... After 2 very lengthy "naps" I finally arrived in Montreal at 8 am, just in time to have some poutine for breakfast.

We had a great weekend. skating , tobogganing and poutine... It doesn't get any better than that... returned home on Sunday... and now it is on with the rest of life..

Good Bye Kitchen

Great News....

Plans are coming together to redo the spacious (not) 100 year old kitchen we have.

Sandi Has been very patient with working in this tiny space. the pic tells no lies... that is all the kitchen cupboards and counter top we have.

I'll keep you posted.... I'm sure you will get a kick out of the stories to come as I'm doing this with the help of my Bro-in-law.

Xmas 2005 Pictures with MOM.

Christmas with MOM - 2005

Well Christmas and new years is done and everyone has gone home.

Some highlights of our christmas was that MOM came out from Wpg.

What a great adventure as she's heading for 81!

We decorated the tree together, shared christmas turkey, drove around to see the xmas lights

And of course.

Worked on making me a new main sail and jib sail for my sail boat....

I'll get into the sail boat in some other blog I am sure.

We also enjoyed homemade perogies and Peppernuts.

Mom also made some new friends... mainly our 3 cats and one dog....

Special Highlights were getting to see cousins from Chatham and Guelph along with a quick trip out kingston way to visit as well.
