Queen's School Of Business

I went to a week long Leadership Development program at Queens University last week in Kingston. A fantastic event! Among all the great things that happened that week one highlight was a dinner at Fort Henry that included a show by the Canadian Snow Birds.

So Long over due updates

Where to start......

School Trip
I had the privlage of going on the Grade 7/8 School Trip to Quebec City, 60+ kids, 10 parents, 2 teachers... It was great. Old Quebec was fantastic, Mt. Morency falls, St. Anne's basilica, the citidal and a sugar shack all put into 3 days, I even got to do some break dancing, but you will have to ask Kaitlyn about that.

Galbladder follow up

I finally got to the specialist aptmt. No news there, sending me back for another ultra sound to see if anything has changed.

District Walk

I've gone public with a fund raising commitment. Walking 300+ Kms in South West Ont.

more details at www.davesdistrictdash.blogspot.com check it out.

in order to accomplish this task, I joined the gym, am working out 3-4 times a week and have gone cold turkey (pretty much) on fast food and am watching meal portions more realistically!

Queens University

Fathers day I leave for Queens in Kingston for a week long leadership development cousre.... Should be interesting.

Sailing

I have the sailboat in the water. Did a shine and wax job on it first and it came out great. I even got asked if I had had the boat painted, it looked so good.

My friend steve bought this (below) at 25 ft Mcgregor, can't wait to take it out for a spin.

Sandi's Run

Sandi completed her 1/4 marathon run for the woodstock hospital fundraiser.
she did 10K in one hour......Awesome!
