Putting the Boat to Bed

It was a sad day today.... I put the boat to bed.... See you next spring!

It was an interesting trip getting to storage... both bearings were shot. By the time I made the 7 mile trip the hubs were smoking and hot.... NOT a single bearing left.. just metal on metal, I don't know how I made it with out the wheels literally falling off... Anyway, it is there now, new bearings and all, ready for a long winter sleep!
