wpg trip - more pics

sadly the trip is coming to an end.

here are some various pics of the past 3 days,
currently we are in the Wisconsin Dells at a KOA

reunion 2007, Gretna MB, (wpg trip day 4)

Just 500 meters from the USA border in Gretna MB, over 100 Letkeman descendants converged.
We were able to get Mom and Uncle Ed there for the day.

wpg trip day 2 -

we have ended up maple grove MI.
today we were up at 530 am and on the road by 630, I tell ya, i'm travelling with some real troupers.
at the mall of america by 11 am and spend the rest of the afternoon there.
including the amusement park and the aquarium.
now were at our koa site.

wpg trip - Day 1

we did woodstock to De Forest WI. today.
Got the tent up and now having some fun before we bed down for the night.

The Maiden Voyage !!!!!

The sailboat went our for the first time today!

It was a really windy day, Sandi and I took it out around noon, a short trip because the wind was really strong.

then Steve, Rick and I took it out for a 3 hour cruise, we had it really going, over 11 kph and she was over to the gunnel at times.

Blame it on Clive!!!!!

Well I guess Clive isn't totally at fault....... But he did get me hooked on sailing.....

So what happens to every budding sailor.... They want bigger boats, Well I'm no exception...

On the weekend went to Orangeville and bought this 18 Foot Gulf Coast....

it needs a bit of help but will be a good project over the summer..... It is rigged and in the water but I haven't had a chance to sail it Yet!!!!
