A family Favorite - Peppernuts

Jessica and I were up early and decided to make a batch of peppernuts - unfortunately they don't last very long.

The first trip to the zoo for 2006.

Some highlights
* The lions were particularly frisky - you could hear them roar a mile away.
* The baby Gorilla just turned 1 this week - very cute
* The kids ate BUGS! - yup BUGS - crickets and ants in cookies.... Gross? well not really, kind of good! What we found out about bugs (or bug parts) in our regular food would shock you!

It is Finished!!! - Almost?

Well one week later and we have a new kitchen.
A very Long week!
Working 7 or 8 am to at least midnight and two nights to 3 and 4 in the morning.

thanks to all who came and helped, Craig, Gord, Deb, Jamie... but most of all to Eric for devoting two weeks of work (shrunk down to one week of time) and for not only helping with the kitchen, but fo the technical excellence and the eduction I recieved through this whole thing.

I'm sure I will post more later.
